Hello again...This
is our third newsletter. Lots more developments since our last one
in early September. We are still planning our official launch for early next year, after the dot.com shake out and the big holiday selling season. In in the meantime, news about us is spreading, and we're getting more and more queries -- even one from Norway! A
Gala Holiday Parade Dec. 2. Our first big event will be participating in the big Holiday Parade in Oakland on Saturday, December 2. It's sponsored by the Oakland Tribune, along with the Oakland Chamber of Commerce. It will be broadcast on local TV -- and maybe picked up nationally. Oakland photographer Cleo Brown, who has photos featured in the Photos section will be taking photos as we go. Come join us with your dog if you can. Dress up in costume to look as much like your dog as possible. We're planning to have an open convertible with a few owners and dogs, a banner on the side that says: doyoulooklikeyourdog.com, and a contingent of owners with their dogs walking behind us. The parade goes from 12 noon-3 p.m. through downtown Oakland. Contact us for additional details if you'd like to participate. |

Dog Book Plans We are now contacting publishers about our Do You Look Like Your Dog book (with winners' pictures included!). Plus we have several cartoon, quote, and humor books in the works. You'll see sample pages from these if you go to Books.
